Spiritually-guided business owners want freedom with ease as they become more conscious in our not-so-conscious world. They desire to make a difference in the world and create purposeful abundance through their business. And they draw inspiration from a greater power even as they intuitively draw on the inner strength and natural gifts of their Divine Self.
The Path to Freedom for the Spiritually-guided Business Owner provides the roadmap to achieve these principled goals. It is built on a framework of four “pillars”: Mindset, Beliefs, Purpose/Passion/Principles, and The Creative Process. The four pillars create the foundation for “The Spiritual Operating System” (SOS), a system that expands and supports your current business model.
In this article, we’ll explore Manifestation (the Creative Process) and how it can activate your prosperity and empower you to easily attain the freedom you yearn for.
The first three “Pillars” of progress – Mindset, Beliefs, and Purpose/Passion/Principles – are crucial stepping stones along the path toward activating your prosperity. More than that, they establish a solid foundation for the fourth Pillar, from which your creative vision can spring forth as a Manifestation of your unique vision – a manifestation that can empower your prosperous destiny.
Envisioning a Better Reality
The CEO of Zappos, Tony Hsieh, says “Envision, create and believe in our own universe, and the universe will form around you.” The first part of Hsieh’s advice is the first part of manifestation: envisioning what you want. Before this vision can be made real, it must have its own spark of creation. For many of us, this is simply a dream. Make no mistake, dreams are powerful! Consider what Henry David Thoreau wrote:
If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.
Of course, merely dreaming does not create motion or progress or prosperity by itself. Again, Thoreau:
If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.
How do you put the foundations beneath your dreams? You’ve already done part of the work if you have embraced the first three pillars: Mindset, Beliefs, and Purpose/Passion/Principles. What’s next? What further foundations need to be built for you to manifest your prosperous destiny?
Creating Your New Prosperous Future
Walt Disney said, “If you can dream it, you can do it.” If anyone was a dreamer who made his – and others’ – dreams come true, it was Walt! But even Walt Disney did not possess the power of instant manifestation; he worked hard, from a clear vision, to make the magic happen. I believe Walt probably intuitively worked through this kind of simplified creative process:
- Establishing clear intention, aided by visualization of what is desired
- Understanding the power of our unique creative energy gifts
- Following an inner guidance system (or intuition)
- Actualizing the power of gratitude
To make this process work, Wallace D. Wattles, author of The Science of Getting Rich, suggests that “A person can form things in his thought, and by impressing his thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created.” Wattles cautions, however, that “In order to do this, a person must pass from the competitive to the creative mind. Otherwise, he cannot be in harmony with formless intelligence, which is always creative and never competitive in spirit.”
This speaks to the better nature of clear intentions and visualization. While it is important to hold a clear mental image of what you want to manifest in your thoughts, it is just as important to extend gratitude to the universe and have faith. This process will set in motion your creation.
What’s more, a spiritually guided business owner understands the power of heartfelt intention and intuition, as did Wattles: “To operate at the level of consciousness within the new paradigms, there must be absolute heart connection. The heart is the center of all intuitive knowing. The heart is where we are guided from for action and also where we are guided to for clarity of direction. The heart holds the answers for the highest good of all concerned. The egoic mind generally does not.”
The spiritually-guided business owner can also envision the future, transplant themselves into that vision, and then describe what it takes to get there. Intention is how you want the game to come out. It sets the magic in motion. If you will clearly envision your intention and make the decision to make it real, your subconscious will make the provision.
Your intuition will help. Some call it following your gut; I call it your inner guidance system that will let you know if you are on or off track. Indeed, intuition is a form of wisdom. It is the gift of knowing without reasoning. When you are freed from overthinking things, it is amazing the clarity that emerges and how rapidly you can adapt. Intuition is usually more right than wrong even though we love to convince ourselves otherwise. Why is it we value thinking over feeling? Why aren’t we taught to follow our natural inclination?
An Exercise for Manifesting a More Prosperous Future
Here is something you can start doing right now (you might say it is the formula for creation):
- Set your intention
- Feel it, visualize it. Know that when you are visualizing and feeling it, you are bringing it into physical form vibration
- Focus on it. See yourself playing the essential role.
- Feel what it will be like to have a successful business, new product avenues, or expansion that will bring joy
- Feel it again, focus on it again. Embody it!
- Send love to this intentional vision just as you would send love to a child you are carrying in the womb
- Allow yourself to think expansively
- Send gratitude, for gratitude is more powerful than you realize
As you begin to manifest your creative process, ask yourself this: Do I have a clear vision of where I will be 10 years from now, and do I have an intentional plan to get there?
Then break it down into time-bound goals:
- What needs to happen in a year to get me where I am going?
- What are my intentions for the next quarter?
- What are my intentions for this week?
Armed with answers to these questions, you will be on your way!
